The KTUI26 Ultra Isolation Headphones from KAT Percussion are a pair of over-ear headphones designed specifically for drummers. They deliver a frequency range of 20 Hz to 20 kHz while passively reducing external noise by 26 dB—quite useful when you’re practicing drums against prerecorded tracks or tracking during recording sessions. Comparatively lightweight at 10.8 oz, these headphones will remain comfortable through extended playing sessions, while their large foam ear cushions aid in the fight against ear fatigue.
With the option to plug into the 1/8″ jacks commonly found in consumer devices or the 1/4″ jacks found in most studios—compounded with a noise-cancellation and bleed-reducing construction—these headphones are a solid choice for any situation which calls for playing drums to prerecorded music.
