sE Electronics Voodoo VR1

Pick up an sE Electronics Voodoo VR1 ribbon microphone, and you will. This incredibly affordable mic combines some of the RNR1’s (one of sE’s not-so affordable beauties) innovations with new mechanical breakthroughs designed by sE CEO, Siwei Zou, to give you a great sounding mic at a price most people can manage. We’ve heard a lot of ribbon mics, and this one’s fantastic! Put the Voodoo VR1 up against most ribbons that cost twice as much, and you’ll agree. It „hears“ vocals and guitar amps the same way you do. The Voodoo VR1 is also sweet on drums, bringing out the space and air, and capturing all those little details that make for a great recording. If you love ribbon mics already, pick up a Voodoo VR1. If you’re new to ribbons, pick up two or three, you’re gonna love ‚em!
