The 67mm Tiffen Black Pro-Mist 1/8 Filter effectively diminishes highlight intensity and slightly decreases overall contrast. It is particularly beneficial for softening facial wrinkles and imperfections. Although primarily intended for cinematic use, this filter is also suitable for fashion and beauty photography. In contrast to standard diffusion or soft focus filters, Pro-Mist filters maintain a high level of detail throughout the image. The 1/8 density offers a milder reduction in contrast and highlights compared to the 1/4 density, while still imparting a gentle, pastel-like illumination.
- Pro-Mist filters provide little loss of detail across the image compared to traditional diffusion and soft focus filters.
- Especially useful for smoothing out and softening facial wrinkles and other blemishes.
- Controls highlight flares
