Overview
Featuring a slim design, this 28mm f/2.8 Lens from Opteka is a Sony E-mount prime offering a 42mm equivalent focal length. The modest f/2.8 maximum aperture promotes a thinner, pancake-like form factor that is ideal for travel and everyday use. Its optical design incorporates one super-low dispersion element to reduce color fringing and chromatic aberrations while an HD anti-reflection coating has been applied to suppress ghosting and flare for increased contrast. Additionally, the lens sports a manual focus design and its manual aperture ring has been de-clicked for smooth, silent aperture transitions.
