Chris Orwig Authentic Portraits

Authentic Portraits: Searching for Soul, Significance, and Depth is published by Rocky Nook and guides you to create and take better portraits while discovering and transforming into your best self. In this book photographer Chris Orwig teaches that great portraits require good interpersonal skills, and he demonstrates how the characteristics of curiosity, empathy, kindness, and soul all lead to making better photographs. By discovering and transforming into your best self you not only become a better person, but you also become a better photographer as well. For Orwig the emotional connection between the photographer and subject is crucial to capturing authentic portraits, and he shows us that by caring and connecting with the person in front of the camera you are better able to create meaningful and memorable images.
