Godox Barndoor Kit — For AD400Pro Outdoor Flash

Shape the light, kill the spill.

The feel
When you want crisp, controllable light from your AD400Pro, barndoors are the simplest, most reliable tool. Clip them on, angle the leaves, and you’ve got clean edges, tighter pools, and zero background flare—perfect for portraits, product highlights, hair/rim light, and moody location work.

Why photographers love it

• Precise spill control: Four adjustable leaves let you carve light exactly where you want it and keep it off the lens or background.

• Cleaner separation: Create tidy pools and sharp-edged slashes of light for hair/rim accents and product highlights.

• Instant contrast boost: Tightening the beam adds shape and drama without changing your exposure triangle.

• Creative add-ons: Kit includes a snap-in honeycomb grid for extra beam control and color filters/gels for quick mood shifts.

• Built for the AD400Pro: Designed to mount on the AD400Pro’s compatible reflector—fast on/off, solid hold.

Compatibility

• Lights: Godox AD400Pro (and equivalent rebrands).

• Mounting: Attaches to the appropriate reflector for the AD400Pro.*

• Not for: AD200/AD300Pro/AD600 barndoors (different sizes).

Good to know

• Barndoors shape light; they don’t soften it. For softer light, use a softbox/umbrella and add the barndoors to a harder source for accents.

• Rotate the assembly to match your frame lines (verticals stay vertical).

• Keep gels clear of very hot sources; allow ventilation around the modeling lamp.

What’s in the box

• 4-leaf barndoor
