Enhance the mounting and protection of your Canon EOS R5 Mark II camera with the lightweight aluminum „Black Mamba“ Camera Cage from SmallRig. This precisely designed cage allows easy access to the camera’s controls, battery, and SD card slot while offering a range of mounting options. The camera is secured to the cage with a single 1/4″-20 screw, and a raised front section helps prevent twisting, complemented by rubber padding on the base to avoid metal-to-metal contact.
The cage is equipped with several 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 accessory threads, along with ARRI-style locating holes that ensure accessories remain stable when attached. An integrated Arca-type mount on the base allows compatibility with standard Arca-type heads and bases. Additionally, a shoe mount is located on the top, and integrated strap slots enable the attachment of a separately sold neck or wrist strap. A QD (Quick Detach) socket at the bottom offers another option for strap attachment. A screwdriver for securing the camera screw is conveniently stored at the bottom of the cage.
