Effective lighting hinges on precise control, and the 45° Deep Focus Reflector with Honeycomb Grids and Diffusion from Westcott delivers the essential tools for achieving this. The package features a one-stop diffusion cover designed to fit any umbrella shaft seamlessly. Additionally, it includes 15° and 30° grids that effectively reduce spill light, narrow the beam spread for targeted illumination, and render the setup perfect for hair or accent lighting. Notably, a lower grid number corresponds to a more concentrated circle of light produced.
Maximize and Direct Light
This reflector creates a controlled 55° light beam for mid-range photography and video applications. It concentrates the light into a narrow 55° beam angle, rendering light with minimal fall-off and a defined edge.
Removable Honeycomb Grids
The provided 15° and 30° snap-in honeycomb grids enhance light control, allowing for precise directionality of light onto your subject or scene. These grids facilitate targeted illumination of specific areas within your subject. The dimensions of the projected light circle are determined by the chosen grid and its proximity to the subject.
Precise Light Control
Honeycomb grids are made up of cells that control off-axis light in 6 directions. By focusing light through a grid, you eliminate both light spill and lens flare simultaneously for precise illumination.
Versatile Modifier for the FJ400 and Other Bowens-Mount Lights
This durable, all-metal accessory set is equipped with a Bowens S-type mount. It is compatible with any Bowens-mount light, including the popular Westcott FJ400 strobe
